BECKLEY, W.Va. — The City of Beckley will celebrate the grand opening of the new Beckley Rail Trail Bike Park on Saturday, August 22 at 12 p.m., marking another major addition to the city’s growing outdoor recreation offerings.
The event will showcase the park’s new bike features and give residents a chance to see riders in action along the Rail Trail. Community members are encouraged to bring their bikes, explore the course, and join in the celebration.
The Bike Park is located on the Beckley Rail Trail behind 3100 Robert C. Byrd Drive, with parking available in the City of Beckley’s monthly parking lot on Piney Avenue.
City officials say the new park is part of ongoing efforts to expand outdoor recreation opportunities and enhance quality of life for families, cyclists, and trail users throughout Beckley.
