Fayette Station Road Bridge to Close Through March for Repairs

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV — The West Virginia Division of Highways will close the Tunny Hunsaker Bridge on Fayette Station Road beginning Monday, January 12, for a bridge deck replacement project.
The closure affects County Route 82 between milepost 4.61 and 4.63 and will begin at 8 a.m. Monday. The bridge is expected to remain closed through Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
Transportation officials say the schedule may change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. The Division of Highways apologized for the inconvenience and is asking motorists to follow posted traffic control signs and use caution when traveling near the work zone.
