FMRS Extends 2026 Community Needs Assessment Survey Through Aug. 31

BECKLEY, W.Va. — FMRS is asking residents across southern West Virginia to take part in its 2026 Community Needs Assessment Survey as the agency works to better understand behavioral health needs in the region.

The survey has been extended through August 31, and FMRS says it is especially hoping to hear from people in Raleigh, Fayette, Monroe, and Summers counties who have never used FMRS services. Officials say those responses help identify gaps and barriers that may prevent individuals from seeking behavioral health care.

The survey takes about five to ten minutes to complete, and all responses are confidential and de‑identified. Participants may also enter for a chance to win one of four $100 gift cards.

The survey is available through FMRS’ website and social media pages.
