Jackson County Woman Charged After Alleged Plot to Recruit Others to Kill President Trump

RIPLEY, W.Va. — A Jackson County woman is in custody after deputies say she used social media to recruit individuals to pursue and assassinate President Donald Trump. According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, 39‑year‑old Morgan Morrow of Ripley was arrested following what officials described as a detailed evening investigation.
Morrow is charged with one count of terroristic threats. Deputies say additional information will be released as the investigation continues.
