BECKLEY, WV – April 16, 2026 – The Raleigh County Parks and Recreation Authority (RCPRA) invites the public to a Fisherman’s Open House on Sunday, April 19, 2026. The event will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lake Stephens Event Center.
This open house is a casual opportunity for local anglers and community members to meet directly with RCPRA staff and representatives from the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources (DNR).
The event is designed to be an open dialogue between leadership and the fishing community. Attendees are encouraged to ask question and provide feedback about the fishing experience at the lake.
