Salvation Army of Beckley Launches Christmas Fundraising Season with Annual Kettle Kick-Off

Beckley, WV — November 14, 2025   — The Salvation Army of Beckley will officially begin its Christmas fundraising season with the annual Kettle Kick-Off on Friday, November 14, at 6:00 p.m. at Crossroads Mall. The event will feature festive Christmas carols performed by the Beckley Brass Band, setting a joyful tone for the season of giving.

This year, the Salvation Army has set a fundraising goal of $150,000 to be raised by Christmas Eve, 2025. All funds collected through the iconic Red Kettle campaign will stay local, helping provide food, shelter, utility assistance, and holiday support to individuals and families in need throughout Raleigh, Nicholas, Fayatte, Wyoming, Webster, Greenbrier, and Pocahantas County.

“The Kettle Kick-Off marks the beginning of a season of hope,” said Capatin Liz Blusiewicz  “Every dollar dropped into a red kettle helps us meet real needs in our community—especially during the holidays when so many are struggling.”

Community members are invited to join the celebration at Crossroads Mall, enjoy the holiday music, and be among the first to give to this year’s campaign.

The Salvation Army encourages businesses, churches, and civic groups to volunteer as bell ringers at ResgisterToRing.org or to host virtual kettles to help meet this year’s goal. Emaill BeckleyWV@uss.salvationarmy.org if you would like to volunteer!
