WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. — The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce opened its 90th Business Summit this week at the Greenbrier Resort, bringing together leaders in business, finance, and education for three days of economic discussions. This year’s summit coincides with the nation’s 250th anniversary and highlights themes of liberty, innovation, and free enterprise.
Secretary of State Kris Warner said the summit has historically helped small businesses grow into major employers. Sen. Jim Justice added that success in West Virginia requires passion and persistence. The event runs through Friday.
