CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia State Auditor’s Office has announced the launch of its fully redesigned official website, set to go live on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
The updated platform is designed to provide West Virginians with improved access to essential services, expanded financial transparency tools, and timely updates from the Auditor’s Office. Residents will be able to view state expenditures, revenues, and public fiscal data more easily than ever before.
As the state’s constitutional bookkeeper, the Auditor oversees critical financial functions to ensure the lawful and responsible use of public funds. The new site represents a step forward in transparency, accountability, and community engagement.
Key features include:
- Enhanced access to public financial documents, audit reports, and records
- Streamlined services for local governments, payroll, county collections, securities oversight, and fraud reporting
- A “What’s New” tab offering regular updates and press releases for residents and media partners
State Auditor Mark Hunt said the goal is to empower West Virginians with clear, accessible information. “It allows full transparency and gives the people a simpler way to connect with the State Auditor’s Office,” Hunt noted.
The new website will be available beginning December 3 at wvsao.gov.
