Beckley, WV – The Friends of Charity Auto Fair is gearing up for a major comeback as it celebrates its 20th year at the Raleigh County Memorial Airport. After a one‑year hiatus, organizers say the beloved Beckley tradition is returning bigger than ever, blending its signature car show with a full festival atmosphere.
Hundreds of vehicles — from classic muscle cars and customs to tuners, trucks, and motorcycles — are expected to fill the airport grounds. The event has long been considered one of West Virginia’s premier auto showcases, drawing participants and spectators from across the region.
But the Auto Fair is more than a car show. This year’s event features carnival rides and games, sponsor displays, food vendors, and family‑friendly attractions designed to create a full fair‑style experience. Organizers say the goal is to make the weekend enjoyable for car enthusiasts and families alike.
Live music is also a major part of the weekend. The Auto Fair traditionally concludes with a Saturday night concert, featuring well‑known performers and rising artists — a tradition that continues as the event returns for its milestone year.
Event leaders say they’re grateful for the community’s patience following last year’s cancellation and are excited to bring back an event that supports Hospice of Southern West Virginia and other charitable causes. They expect strong turnout as the region rallies around one of its most popular summer traditions.
